Grant Committee

Join the CGN Grant Committee: Serve. Lead. Grow.

Church of God Network (CGN) is creating an exciting new team—and we want you to be a part of it!

The CGN Grant Committee is a volunteer leadership and service opportunity for motivated young adults (ages 18–29) across the Church of God community. It’s more than just a committee—it’s a chance to serve your brethren, steward God’s resources, and grow alongside like-minded peers in faith, leadership, and impact.

What You’ll Do

As a member of the CGN Grant Committee, you’ll play an active role in shaping how CGN supports the Church of God community:

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and Vote on Grant Applications
Participate in bi-monthly Zoom meetings to evaluate proposals and help decide how CGN’s grant funds are distributed.
• Support a CGN Project Area
Choose one of CGN’s existing initiatives to assist with—working alongside CGN team members to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit service.
• Engage and Represent
Committee members may appear on CGN’s podcast, help spread awareness of the grants to Church leaders and members, and research new areas of need.
• Foster Leadership Continuity
Help identify and nominate future committee candidates as your term concludes. Outstanding members may even be considered for future roles within CGN.

The Programs You’ll Support

You’ll help guide and grow CGN’s three existing grant programs:

1. Ephesians 4 Project – Supports cross-organizational Church events.
2. Within Your Gates – Funds member-led service projects and urgent disaster relief efforts.
3. COG Development Program – Assists members in developing countries with education and entrepreneurship, in collaboration with local COG leaders.
