COG Development Program - Church of God Network

The COG Development Program empowers brethren in developing countries by providing resources to launch sustainable businesses or pursue educational opportunities that lead to income-generating jobs. Through targeted micro-grants, we cover the costs of training, education, or the initial expenses of starting a business, such as inventory, equipment, and fees. On average, each grant is around $1,000.

How It Works:

Recipients are eligible to apply for the grant multiple times, though they will become ineligible for further grants once one is awarded. Importantly, the grant is a gift—not a loan. We simply ask that recipients provide an update within 6 months to share their progress, promoting a sense of responsibility, accountability, and gratitude.

A Call to Give Back:

We believe that as a successful business or job is achieved, recipients are encouraged to consider making a voluntary contribution back to the fund to support others in need. This creates a cycle of giving that strengthens the entire community.

To support this initiative and make a lasting impact, simply go to our Donate page and specify your contribution to the “COG Development Program”.

Grant Review and Application:

Grant applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis. The application deadlines are as follows:

Quarter 1 – March 31
Quarter 2 – June 30
Quarter 3 – September 30
Quarter 4 – December 31

Join us in making a difference, one grant at a time!
