Within Your Gates: Camp Outreach registration deadline May 15th

Church of God Network’s Within Your Gates program is designed to help marshal the resources and manpower of THE ENTIRE Church of God to come to the aid of brethren (and local communities) in times of need. The program has two functions: 1) to keep the Church of God at large informed as to the critical needs brethren and communities worldwide, and 2) to connect brethren seeking to serve with the Church of God organizations already responding to needs on the ground.

One fantastic opportunity to serve is Camp Outreach (run by Common Ground Christian Ministries)! The Camp Outreach program rehabs homes, improves landscaping and performs much-needed maintenance for free to the homes of senior citizens, the fatherless, and the poor. Young people whom at least turn 13 in 2023 and adults work together to give hope and help to others.

This year Camp Outreach is being held in the Kansas City area from Sunday, July 2nd to Saturday, July 8th, and it is time to get your applications in! The camp fee is just $155 per person which includes housing and meals. The registration deadline is May 15th. Go to cgcm.us/camp-outreach-2023 to find out more and download your application. If you have any questions, email info@CGCM.US and Guy or Jennifer Swenson will get back to you. If you would like to donate to help with camp costs, offer a scholarship or help pay for materials, go to the cgcm.us/give – and include a note that your donation is specifically for Camp Outreach.
