Educational & Business Development Grants

The purpose of the Educational & Business Development Grants program is to help brethren in developing countries start successful, profitable and sustainable businesses, or obtain training or education for jobs that will provide a reliable source of income. This is done through micro grants that will help pay for the training or education, or the start-up costs associated with a new business (inventory, equipment, fees, etc.).

The grant money does not have to be repaid. However, to engender responsibility, accountability and gratitude, we simply ask that the receiver report back to us within 6 months of receiving the money to update us on how the business venture or educational process is going. Also, if the business or job is successful, we ask that if possible, a voluntary donation of any amount be given back to the fund to contribute to others who might need a helping hand.

Grant applications will be evaluated on a quarterly basis. Applications for each quarter are due by the following dates:

Quarter 1 – March 31
Quarter 2 – June 30
Quarter 3 – September 30
Quarter 4 – December 31
