New CGN Grant Recipient: Musonda Sakala

We’re excited to announce that our next recipient of an Educational & Business Development grant is Musonda Sakala! Musonda lives in Zambia and is a member of Church of the Great God.

Musonda runs a natural/organic skincare business. She produces handmade natural/organic soaps, lotions, scrubs, and body oils. She started the business as a result of having allergic reactions to conventional skincare products. For many years Musonda sought a natural solution that would work with her skin, but found none. Finally in 2019, things came together and she started making soap for herself and her family. She then ventured into teaching other women, and young people, how to make soap in order to generate an extra income.

Musonda expanded her business to supplying raw materials to others in the same trade. She will be using the grant from Church of God Network to increase her working capital and source additional raw materials to supply those in the same business.
