New Within Your Gates Grant: Atlanta COGs

While Within Your Gates is our grant program aimed at helping the COG respond to crises, we also give out grants to inspire good works by providing grants for service projects led by members of the Church of God. Whether you’re a member or a minister, we encourage projects benefiting Church brethren or the local community.

Our most recent Within Your Gates grant was given to 4 Church of God organizations in Atlanta, Georgia that came together to provide a local member (who wished to remain anonymous) with wheelchair access to her house. This member is single and has recently become the primary caregiver for a relative who is quadriplegic. The funds were used to build a wheelchair ramp and concrete sidewalk according to all applicable building codes. Check out the before and after pictures below!

If you or your congregation are interested in taking on a service project, you can apply for a grant from our Within Your Gates grant program here!
